My name is Nancy Aiello and back in 1979 I came to Rome from San Francisco to earn a Master Degree in Roman History. I earned my Degree and I am still in Italy because I fell in love with Rome and my Italian husband Giovanni! A century or so ago my Italian ancestors went to the US from a tiny village on the Amalfi Coast so I suppose you could say that I have come back to my roots.
