Chianti Classico Wine Tasting Day Tour
When in Tuscany explore and discover the most famous Chianti wine area situated south of Florence. The Chianti Classico is divided between Florence and Siena. Visit a boutique wine estate for a wine tasting tour with an expert wine maker. Chianti Pisani Wine Tasting Day Tour
Chianti Pisani is one of the four Chianti areas located a mere 12 miles from Florence. On this private chauffeured Tuscany day trip enjoy a morning visit to the town of Carmignano. This picturesque wine zone is dotted with numerous Medicean Villas once used as summer homes and for hunting. Cabernet Sauvignon is blended with Sangiovese to produce this full bodied wine. The Cabernet grape has been growing in this area since the Medici times. In the 20th century renewed cuttings were bought over from Chateau Lafitte Rothschild in Bordeaux. In 1975 the area was awarded DOC sanctioning for the use of the Cabernet Sauvignon. Visit the home of a local Count and his wife for a tour of an original Medici Estate. This noble family produces one of the most well known Carmignano red and white blends along with extra virgin olive oil. Enjoy a walk through ancient cellars along with their beautiful estate including their rose and lemon gardens followed by a wine tasting. On the way back enjoy a stop at Poggio a Caiano to visit another outstanding Medici property. The Villa was built for Lorenzo De Medici between 1445 -1520 and you will admire works by Pontormo and enjoy a walk around these beautiful classical gardens.
Pisa & Lucca Cultural Tasting Wine Tour
Drive toward the coast from Florence for a visit to western Tuscany. Arrive in the charming walled town of Lucca where we can rent bikes or take a lovely stroll around the original medieval city wall to discover beautiful gardens, charming palaces, medieval towers and historical churches. Montepulciano, Pienza & Montalcino

The pleasant scent of fresh pecorino cheese dominates the windy roads of the town centre. We will stop at one of the most famous and delicious artisanal pecorino store for a full tasting. After a relaxed lunch in a local trattoria away from the tourist crowd we'll transfer to the beautiful town of Montalcino for a tour of this medieval town with its its winding streets filled with typical Brunello products and a well deserved wine tasting at a boutique Brunello winery. After the tasting we'll continue the visit to the medieval town of Montalcino where you can climb its medieval fortress and wander around with breathtaking views over the Tuscan countryside.
Cortona & Nobile Wine of Montepulciano Wine Tasting Tour
