TESTIMONIALS

  • Vatican and Colosseum Private Family Tours

    Hello,
My children and I enjoyed our tours very much!
    Our overall experience was fantastic!
The booking process was easy. The person I communicated with, Ann, was very professional and helpful. Both tours were great. Our guides for each tour (Cynthia for the Vatican, Laura for the Colosseum) were very knowledgeable and interesting. They kept my children engaged, and moved the tour along at a pace that worked well for us. My children said they’d rather learn about the world with private tour guides like the ladies we met in Rome, than by going back to their classrooms. I would you recommend Nancy Aiello Tours to families and friends. I came across Nancy Aiello Tours through Ciao Bambino website. Thanks for providing such a wonderful service. Our trip to Rome and our understanding of the various sites would not have been the same without your excellent tour guides.
    Sincerely,

  • Old Rome Children Tour

    Vatican Children Tour

We appreciate the service you provided.  While it was expensive, it was worth it.  The skip the line feature at the Vatican and Coliseum was quite the time and sanity saver.  We had our 4 and 6 year olds with us and we knew they would have a limited amount of energy for sightseeing.  We didn’t want to waste it in line.  Plus, it was quite fun walking past all the people who had stood in line for 2 hours.  We only had 2 full days to spend in Rome and would not have seen and done as much as we did without our tour guide.  Our guide was Catia and she was wonderful.  She was patient with our kids.  She was very personable.  She gave us a background and history of the places we visited and pointed out things regular sightseers wouldn’t notice.  We enjoyed our time spent with her immensely.  At one point, our 4 year old was tired and cranky and hungry for Nutella.  Catia remembered there was a place nearby that had a Nutella pizza and called ahead to confirm.  That pizza was probably our kids’ favorite meal in Italy and it averted a major meltdown.  We were appreciative of Catia’s thoughtfulness.
It’s difficult with small children on a regular tour as they have their own special needs and pacing, but having a private tour with Nancy Aiello was the way to make everyone happy.
I would most definitely recommend Nancy Aiello Tours to my family and friends.  We saw and experienced more than we would have in Rome than under any other circumstance.  We were quite pleased with the experience.
I googled Rome for children and you were recommended in several travel sites and blogs.  We looked at your website and saw that a couple of your tours looked exactly what we wanted.
Thank you.  We were very pleased.

  • Private Livorno Shore Excursion Best of Cinque Terre & Portofino Trip

    Dear Rachel,
My apologies for not writing to you sooner about our visit in Liguria with Dino (July 16th, 2011). We had a magnificent day visiting Cinque Terre and Portofino. Dino was a great guide and driver and brought us to some truly unique places and memorable vantage points to create some great memories. The drive up and down the hills above Cinque Terre were some of the most remarkable roads I have ever seen. No wonder these towns were only accessible by sea for most of their history. I would strongly recommend your organization and look forward to future opportunities to visit Italy.
    Best regards,
