We cannot recommend Nancy Aiello Tours highly enough. In fact we’ve been telling all our friends about you since returning home!
We went to Rome and Pompeii with our children to learn as much as possible about some of the most famous sites, and gain a greater understanding of the history surrounding them. With a very curious and interested 10 year old boy, I was most concerned about our daughter aged 8. Would she keep up? Would she get bored? Would a 4 hour tour be too long? Was it going to be a waste of money? Absolutely not! Katia in Rome (4hrs Vatican and St Peter’s tour and 4hrs Colosseum and St Clement’s tour) and Stefania (3hrs in Pompeii) were amazing. The tours began with them both engaging with the children and making them feel like VIPs throughout. They valued the children’s opinions and frequently asked them questions to help them remain focussed. After 4hrs in the Vatican my daughter even said she wanted more! These guides are amazing as my husband and I were also learning all the time too. If you’re concerned about children being tired please don’t be. The guides pace the tour so that there are periods of time when you all have a rest too. For example before entering the Sistine Chapel we sat for about 40mins looking at a picture of Michelangelo’s paintings and hearing some of the funniest stories ever about how they came to be. The children especially liked the one about the Pope’s secretary being painted in hell with a snake and the other artist’s dog appearing in rather random places!
Thank you once again, for making our holiday so special. We’re already thinking about returning to other parts of Italy and would definitely use your tours again.

Why Our Rome Children Tours Are Special
We cannot recommend Nancy Aiello Tours highly enough. In fact we’ve been telling all our friends about you since returning home!Victoria Wilderspin
Awesome!!! We absolutely loved our tour of ancient Rome. Our guide was fun, extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his subject. This experience was highlight of our stay in Rome. My only regret is that we left in a bit of a hurry – my husband’s luggage was lost, he was wearing same clothes from travel & uncomfortably hot & anxious to replenish wardrobe – thus, I neglected to tip our guide. I feel terrible as he was so good with our family & kids have been talking about what they learned. If we had more time in the city I would have arranged for another guided tour of St. Peter’s. Please excuse tardy review, my internet connection hasn’t been dependable during the trip. We return to Rome tomorrow for a night before returning to Chicago with wonderful memories.
Our tour was July 4th. I am embarrassed to admit I do not remember our guides name – I think it was Vincenzo. Blame memory on jet lag…Kathleen Mitchell
Both Elisabetta in Florence and Ester in Rome were intelligent, articulate and knowledgeable. Elisabetta showed us the big tourists sites in Florence but also showed us some of the smaller. She made us want to travel to Florence again! Ester in Rome just brought ancient Rome alive for us. Her passion for the city and its history was magical. Both tour guides were wonderful with our 10-year-old son. Thank you for a wonderful experience!Kathryn A Prusak
