Excellent experience – from the booking through the actual tours. We appreciated having the same tour guide (Laura) for both our evening tour and our walking tour of old Rome. Our experience with Nancy Aiello Tours was enlightening. I booked the tours because it was my family’s first visit to Rome and I wanted to ensure that they had an understanding of the history and saw the highlights. My sister and I have been to Rome several times (walking with a guide book, taking big bus tours for a day, etc) but we “saw” so much more on our tours with Laura. I have already recommended you to a colleague who will be in Rome with his family in November. I had googled “what to do with kids in Rome” and found a mommy travel blog that recommended your agency, so I took a look at your website and decided to ask some questions (less than 2 weeks before our arrival in Rome). We were fortunate enough to book 2 different tours.

MORE EXPERIENCES TO INSPIRE YOUR ITALIAN VACATION
Please do share this with Ann. We learned about Nancy Aiello Tours through Ciao Bambino on line while searching for kid friendly guides to Rome. We had about 6 to choose from and I chose yours after reading the reviews.
Ann was absolutely indispensable in planning our trip. She was very friendly and not only welcomed our questions, but answered ALL of them promptly and in an exceptionally organized manner. She is very efficient and you are lucky to have her on your team. She could not have made planning our time in Rome easier than she did. She even helped me choose a hotel. I asked for recommendations for hotels with pools knowing that my children would want to relax after sightseeing. These are apparently hard to find in Rome but she suggested several. I would just like to add our hotel to your list of hotels with pools in Rome. The Crown Plaza Hotel at St. Peter’s. While it was an American Hotel off the beaten path, it was luxurious and very accommodating especially for the price. We took both public transportation and cabs to get to the city and the Vatican.
Lucia was also an excellent tour guide in Rome and we enjoyed being with her every day. Her knowledge of the city was expansive and almost unbelievable. We all appreciated her laid back manner and her efforts in always trying to engage our boys.
I will definitely recommend your company to others traveling abroad especially those with children. Thank you for your services and giving me the opportunity to write this review.
Our recent visit to Rome would not have been the same enriching experience without the tours we booked with your company. Luciana was our guide for Ancient Rome, Underground Rome and the Vatican/St.Peter’s. We were so impressed by her knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject matter, and particularly the way she communicated with our two sons (ages 8 and 10). My children loved Luciana and were sad on the one day that we had not booked a tour. The primary reason we booked a private tour was to make sure the children would get the most out of the tours, and I feel that our children learned quite a lot (and enjoyed it!). I might not have considered booking a private tour if my husband and I had been traveling without our children. After our wonderful experience, I would highly recommend to anyone traveling to Rome, (whether traveling alone, as a couple or with family), to book a tour with your company. We intend to return to Rome and plan to schedule some of the other tours.
