Optional Upgrades to Enhance Your Private Tour

Tour Florence in Comfort and Style by Private Transportation

ADD ON Private English Speaking Licensed Driver and Deluxe Air-Conditioned Mercedes Benz Vehicle

The beauty of a private guided car tour lies in the comfort and flexibility that it offers. Upgrade your tour to include a private driver (in addition to your private guide). With this optional private transportation service, guests have their own vehicle with a driver, and a guide for a total of 2 professional people at disposal for the whole length of the tour, including accommodation pick up and drop off. A private car and a driver (in addition to your private guide) is the perfect solution for those who want to tour in comfort and style.

Make the most out of your precious holiday time. Enjoy the flexibility of touring at your own pace with the convenience of an on-hand driver. Having a car and driver in addition to the guide is beneficial as you cover more sites, see off the beaten path sites that are not accessible on foot, and save energy as you are chauffeured from site to site in the luxury of an air-conditioned vehicle, thereby skipping the walks

Safety Alert. At the Accademia and Uffizi Galleries security measures including metal detectors have been introduced.
Due to increased security measures, some lines may form on tours with skip the line access. Because of the security measures, the lines for entry to the museums may be long during peak seasons and holidays. All visitors must pass through security checks and metal detectors. This cannot be skipped and a lengthy line can form. We can skip the ticket line but not the security checkpoint that applies to all visitors, including those with skip the line access. To facilitate the security checks plan accordingly. Do not bring backpacks or luggage into the museum. Small handbags are fine. Please, consider leaving any items that need to be checked by security at the hotel to speed entry.

The Accademia and Uffizi close on Mondays, Christmas Day, January 1st, August 15th.

The Accademia Gallery and Uffizi Gallery are free on the first Sunday of every month. There is NO skip the-line access on these days. Visitors will thus enter these museums WITHOUT priority admission.

For safety reasons even with booking reservations, there is still a compulsory security check which may cause some delays in entering the Accademia Gallery and Uffizi Gallery.

Bags, purses, cameras, video cameras, umbrellas, buggies, strollers, pushchairs, mobile phones must be left at the Accademia Gallery and Uffizi Gallery cloakroom.
No drinks are allowed into the Academia Gallery, so these must be left in your checked backpack/bag.
Taking pictures inside the Accademia Gallery is not allowed, even without the use of a flash.

Due to the richness of the collections of each museum, this tour is not recommended for children unless they are prepared for the art overload.

TESTIMONIALS

  • Old Rome Children Tour
    Tour Florence in 1 Day
    Vatican Children Tour

Both Elisabetta in Florence and Ester in Rome were intelligent, articulate and knowledgeable. Elisabetta showed us the big tourists sites in Florence but also showed us some of the smaller. She made us want to travel to Florence again! Ester in Rome just brought ancient Rome alive for us. Her passion for the city and its history was magical. Both tour guides were wonderful with our 10-year-old son. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Nancy Aiello Team: After our wonderful yearly stay in Italy, we arrived home on October 8. When having family or friends who have not been to Rome before, I always book a tour. This year, in comparing tours from the internet, yours appeared the most appealing and I was not disappointed. Lucia was a wonderful guide and as many times as I have been to the Vatican, I learned new, memorable information from her. Everything about the tour was excellent and, if I have persons staying with me again who have not been to Rome, I will not hesitate to contact you. My best regards to you and Lucia,

  • Italy Family Vacation Package

I had been working with another touring agency for two weeks and was continually frustrated that I was getting no where in defining costs, which was important for our budget. They made an initial excellent recommendation about seeing Florence first, but that was it. After 2 weeks, I gave up and searched the web, finding your company among others. The description of your agency and the length of time in business was what made me send an initial inquiry. Within 24 hours, not only had you detailed an itinerary to work from, you had all the costs associated with it! The promptness and detail was what won me over immediately. Rachel was excellent and accommodating to work with. Not only were the initial planning emails detailed and the final reservations easy, your organization followed through wonderfully on every aspect. The drivers were courteous and careful, and dressed in suits and ties even in the hot Italian weather (we encouraged them to lose the coat and tie to be more comfortable). Our drive from Pisa to Rome was especially memorable due to the driver’s congeniality; we even invited him to eat with us. As an opera singer, he regaled us with some of his work and our young daughter reciprocated with her own version of Sunrise, Sunset.
The tour guide in Florence, Elizabetta, was energetic, extremely knowledgeable with a masters in Art History and who was also sensitive to our kid’s needs to stop for a drink or some gelato. Again, we asked her to join us for lunch where we could converse some more. Our stop at her favorite gelato shop resulted in us going there 3 more times before leaving Florence. If it wasn’t so hot, we could have gone on for several more hours.
Our tour guide in Rome, Linda, was great; with children of her own, she was sensitive to my son and daughter. She moved at a quicker pace, skipping over some things to get at areas or topics that would be more interesting for the kids.
The cost of the tour seemed expensive to us at first and is why we deleted some things from our original plan. However, after being with the quality of individuals assigned to us, we think that the value for the money is worth it. We will not hesitate to book with you again or to recommend you to friends planning trips to Italy.
Thank you for helping make our trip to Italy memorable and enjoyable. Please feel free to use this letter or any part of it as testimonial on your website.
